A domain name is usually in the format something like www.yourcompany.co.uk which is nice and easy for us humans to remember, but this friendly term is translated by DNS (Domain Name Service) to a version computers understand, something like 194.232.56.02. A domain name is like registering at Companies House, once approved and registered this unique name is yours. So you should register your desired name (if available) soon, as they are being registered at a rapid rate (it is estimated that 100 million names will be registered in the next two years alone)
Your Domain Name

You can register your own Internet domain name, such as: .co.uk. .com .org etc. with us for as little as £40

Once you have your private domain you can then use our design services to create your own low-cost Internet web presence.

Domains ending in .com, or .org are registered through an organisation called InterNIC in the US

Domains ending in .uk, such as .co.uk are registered through an organisation called Nominet in the UK

Nominet and Internic are Registrars

Registrars charge annual fees for maintaining the records for your domain
